Sara Parr
Sara Parr is the Artist and Adult Programs Director at Minnesota Center for Book Arts in Minneapolis, MN. She received her B.F.A. from Minneapolis College of Art and Design in Print, Paper, Book in 2006.
Sara Parr’s artistic practice ranges from books and prints to job printing and broadside and book design. Her personal practice is fueled by her interest in the psychology of male/female relationships and she strives to represent visually how the personal and societal create, enhance, uplift, let down and sometimes damage an individual. Her most recent work is inspired by Anne Boleyn and Henry the VIII. Her books are available through Vamp & Tramp Booksellers, Inc.
