When I first signed up on this site, you could search for Linotype, or other types of machinery (other than the “big 5 listed” and the map would give hits. Now that doesn’t work. I thought it was a hot metal thing (looking for Monotype, Ludlow, etc) but even Challenge comes back with nothing.
Not sure what the glitch is, but it’s been around for a week at least.

Thanks for pointing this out, Micheal. It seems that the “autocomplete” list is working (and that’s set to only list manufacturers that DO appear on the map) but you’re right that there should be results for each of these selections. I’ll report this bug and hopefully have a fix soon for this.

OK I see the problem and it’s not too hard to correct. I will work to get the patch updated this evening.

OK this should be all fixed now. When you search for “Challenge” you will see all the printers that have Challenge presses on the map, etc.

Thanks for getting that debugged Kyle. It’ll help folks find all that oddball equipment out there–including all those hot metal sorts.
