Angie ButlerMemberHi Everyone
What do people think about having a research project survey posted on Letterpress Commons?
I’m in the early stages of my PhD. study at The Centre For Fine Print Research at The University Of The West Of England, Bristol, UK. In the next month I will be posting a short survey on specifically targeted websites and forums for (both UK and International) participants to help me gain information from letterpress and book arts practitioners.
It would be great if some people who use Letterpress Commons felt that it was a worthwhile process in allowing me to post it here and become involved in the study survey, and also in time, hopefully befit from this process!
Fingers crossed and thanks for reading!

Harold KyleMemberWe’d be happy to help. I assume your hosting the survey somewhere that we could link to? We would be happy to help promote this. Why don’t you email instructions when they’re ready to harold -at- letterpresscommons.com and I can help assist getting this on the site.

Angie ButlerMemberHarold I’m thrilled to hear this news, thankyou for your speedy response!
Yes, I would be doing the survey via an online link so should be easy for anyone to participate.
I’ll discuss the survey contents with my supervisors at my next tutorial, and then be in touch. Many thanks
AngieP.s. ‘befit’ in the last line of my previous post was of course meant to be ‘benefit’!

Angie ButlerMemberHi Harold,
Apologies, I seem to be having problems sending e-mails to the address you gave me. I sent one over a month ago (but don’t think that you received it!?) and the server now keeps returning ‘delivery failure’ messages, which no-one likes! So have pasted the survey info below for the letterpress commons website – there’s also further info about my study on page one of the survey if you need to give the website info more context. Hope that’s ok – you can always e-mail me for further info/if any queries etc., at angela2.butler@live.uwe.ac.uk
Thanks for your support
Best wishes
AngieI am investigating letterpress within contemporary book arts practice for my doctoral studies – if you are a letterpress/bookarts practitioner I’d be really interested to hear your views – if you can help, please take my short survey by following the link (or forward to your contacts), and add to knowledge!
The link below goes to page one which gives you further details, ethics info (i.e. selecting to remain anonymous etc.) on the survey before you decide to take part

Thanks very much
