While I love the idea of a virtual press museum, I have always thought the way the presses in the museum were listed was inconsistent and confusing.  Now that you have inherited the task of compiling and maintaining it, maybe we could get it in a better format?    Browsing by category is great and alphabetizing them is also a step in the right direction, but, currently the presses are listed by either manufacturer or model in a very haphazard way.  Golding Jobbers are listed under G, Golding Pearls are listed under P.  Sigwalt Ideals are listed under I, just to name a few examples.  We then try to give some brand history under a press model and wind up referring readers to other models for more brand information.   Maybe a separate section of manufacturers and a consistent list of presses by maker, then model?  Have the company history write ups in the manufacturers section rather than under certain models, which would leave the write ups under the models specific to that model.   I would be happy to assist in reorganizing if there is agreement that this is a good idea.

John, you are a mind reader. We are currently working on reorganizing our equipment listings by manufacturer, standardizing their names, and integrating the museum with the manual database and Print/Trip. Thank you for reaching out, we can definitely use your help!

I’ll contact you via email, John, with a spreadsheet of information to sort through. I agree that this is poorly organized and I’m sure many of our users would love to have this straightened out. Thanks for volunteering.
